Some might ask, how could anyone possibly be thinking about missions to the Moon and Mars and human lunar settlement and industrialization, when we have a society put to a near standstill by a virus, which could cause the crash of the system?

“Quite simply, the solution must be greater than the problem, and when you have the problem of a global pandemic and economic crisis, the solution must be bigger than the planet. It is found in the levels of breakthroughs only achieved by going into space.”

Kesha Rogers to the LaRouche PAC National Town Hall, July 17, 2020

A Note To Readers

The quote above is Kesha Rogers’ introduction to a LaRouche PAC National Town Hall that occurred on July 17, 2020: Does Human Progress Live in Space Now? A Galactic View of Humanity.

Some excerpts from that on-line seminar is our Feature this week.

Presentations there give the reader, or viewer, some in-depth background on the nature of viruses, and the evolutionary role viruses play through millions of years. There is more, including the role of scientific creativity required to solve problems presented to us by nature or even created by mankind, and an exciting discussion of the now underway Artemis Project to put the first woman and the next man on the Moon by 2024. That is the policy of the Trump administration which has almost zero media coverage over the past year since it began.

Also in this week’s report

Drought is spreading beyond the Far West now, as it slowly intensifies on the West Coast. The affect on agriculture is highlighted in one article in this section.

Next is “Another Icon Bites the Dust,” reporting on the Sierra Club finally coming to terms with its racist origins expressed by its founder John Muir. Will Antifa and the other monument destroyers now tear down his statue?

Then is a promo piece by Poseidon on its improvements to its desalination plant in Carlsbad.

The report this week concludes with the Feature.

What Else?

The past weeks I have serialized the pamphlet by the LaRouche PAC which presents the policy of an emergency conference of the heads of state of the U.S., China, Russia and India to make the policy presented in the pamphlet happen: The creation of 1.5 billion productive jobs in the world and 50 million productive jobs in the U.S.

With COVID-19 virtually out of control in the world and in the U.S., this policy is more urgent than ever.

Here is the link to the LaRouche PAC pamphlet:
