“California is on fire because of Democratic myths about nature, and they are doubling down on the myths. The state is being turned rapidly into a modern desert because of Democratic myths about science and water management, and they are doubling down on the myths. Instead of employing nuclear and other advanced power sources, they are employing more and more wind and solar and the idea of continuous access to electricity is becoming a thing of the past. The homeless, the massive number of drug-addicted, the mentally ill, the huge mass of children who can neither read or write, a deliberately created crime wave threatening anyone and everyone, this is the reality which they have created and for which they have no solutions”.
From: “While the Whole Story Remains to Be Told, It’s Already Clear: California and the Nation Can Be Saved “(see page 6)
A Note to Readers
The quote above from the article from LaRouche PAC makes clear that though the Recall election of Gov. Newsom was defeated, the war to save the state, and the nation, from the insanity, that for now dominates the leadership of both, is unsustainable and can be defeated. (see page 6)
We begin this week’s report with the drought. First are the drought maps from the U.S. Drought Monitor for the West and for California.
Two excerpted articles that claim that the West is in a permanent, or at least a megadrought, show a shift in the thinking of at least a portion of the media, if not at least some climatologists. Of course, the articles put the blame on “climate change and global warming.” Yes, there is climate change, there has always been climate change, and will always be climate change. But, the absurd idea that it is driven by mankind’s emission of CO2, is seriously contested by many scientists. This video from my colleague Ben Deniston presents some of that evidence: https://www.larouchepac.com/replace_the_green_new_deal_with_high_physical_productivity
Next is a short excerpt on the water levels of California’s reservoirs, and an announcement from the Water Board of more cut-offs, this time on the Scott and Shasta Rivers, both tributaries to the Klamath River.
The article from LaRouche PAC, mentioned above, is next, followed immediately by a link to a video on the Recall, also from LaRouche PAC.
The topic of fires follows, with more criticism of the U.S. Forest Service policy of not fighting fires aggressively and the complete lack by that agency of the necessary forest management practices that has resulted in the catastrophic fires that now are so common.
Our Feature this week takes us to real physical economy and includes the Four Laws of Economic Recovery authored by Mr. LaRouche in 2014. Also included is an article on how “China’s manufacturing machine powers on.” China, the article demonstrates, with its manufacturing policy, exemplifies how an economy that is competent presents not a geopolitical challenge to the U.S., but an example of why the return to the American System is the only policy that can repair our broken-down economy.
