We must stop the glorification of violence in our society. This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace. It is too easy today for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this, and it has to begin immediately. Cultural change is hard, but each of us can choose to build a culture that celebrates the inherent worth and dignity of every human life. That’s what we have to do.”

President Donald Trump

A Note to Readers

The Moon-Mars Mission fits the call to lift up America’s culture called for by President Trump in the wake of the slaughters in El Paso and Dayton.

A new prospectus of the Moon-Mars mission, organized around the six points of the LaRouchePAC petition “We Commit to the Moon-Mars Mission,” and authored for LaRouchePAC by Ben Deniston, will appear in the Aug. 9 Executive Intelligence Review. The piece lays out the extraordinary science and technology driver which the President’s and NASA’s “Project Artemis” could become, as an Apollo Project-style crash program to make the Moon the workshop and launch point for the Solar System. The prospectus specifies the commitment to carry out this effort cooperatively with at least the Chinese, Russian, Indian space programs, as well as the Japanese and the European.

It is such an aggressive space program that can provide a mission for the nation and begin to be the light for a young generation to see that they do have a future, and that they can participate in such a great mission.

And it is through such a mission that all the nation’s crises in drug addiction, suicides and a broken economy and infrastructure can be addressed and begun to be solved.

The Feature this week contrasts the optimism as expressed above to the pessimism and hysteria demonstrated by the killers in El Paso and Dayton. The mass shootings and murders are a reflection of the culmination of almost 50 years of propaganda by the Malthusians who have attempted to convince us that the Earth is a closed system and there are too many people using up what they called “limited resources,” and the transformation of the economy into a non-productive speculative gambling casino. Since both killers in El Paso and Dayton were open in their statements in expressing such views, and with the increased activity of youth radical environmentalism action, it is useful and necessary to look at where the funds and direction for this activity originates. The world’s Central Banks and a handful of billionaires have made their role clear in recent days.

Also in This Week’s Report:

There is little of interest in regard to water, water policy, and even initiatives for going forward on building something this past week. So, most of the following reports are focused on related areas.

But, we do begin with another statement on the necessity of building the Sites Reservoir.

The warnings of a hot wildfire season have come hot and heavy this past week, and a selection of those articles are included in the next section of the report.

And, for the first time in decades, probably, the Secretary of Energy is actively promoting nuclear power.

Finally, a short report and statement on the affects of the Trade War with China on the Agriculture sector of the U.S. economy.

Then we have the Feature.
